We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Pharmacist to join our dynamic team on a temporary basis. Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and professional requirements.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to patients on the use of medications, potential side effects, and lifestyle changes to improve health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and ensure the safe use of medications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Manage and oversee the pharmacy team, providing support and training as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct medication reviews and provide clinical services such as vaccinations and health screenings.
  • Ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked and organized, managing inventory and placing orders as necessary.
  • Stay informed about new pharmaceutical products, advancements in healthcare, and changes in regulations.

Requirements

  • Registered Pharmacist with a valid license to practice.
  • Proven experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a community or hospital environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and therapeutic uses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
